The Blacon Community Trust is built on foundations laid by Blacon volunteers and we always value their vital contribution. In fact, the Blacon Community Awards is an annual event to celebrate those who give ‘above and beyond’ and our volunteers were recently honoured by the Queen’s Award for Volunteering.
There are many volunteering opportunities at the BCT that encompass a wide range of settings and skills. Your involvement always brings a great deal of benefit to our community and we welcome your volunteering enquiries.
Volunteering is not necessarily a weekly commitment; you may help out for an hour, a half a day or a one off event. Our volunteers often find that they meet many new friends and learn new skills that can lead on to other opportunities.
