B.U.F.F.I.E.S provides opportunity for young people to participate in professional service, providing an ideal atmosphere for vocational development within the supportive learning environment with which they are familiar. Importantly it offers the opportunity to understand the correlation between hard work and reward: profits fund fun activities for learners Day to day activities include, hot and cold buffet preparation, meal preparation for other learners and staff, an understanding of the different roles within an industrial kitchen, health, safety, food hygiene and nutrition. This year we have catered at Eaton Hall, the Duke of Westminster’s Estate, at Mansion House for the Lady Mayoress, for Christine Russell m.p. and for Prince Charles’ entourage when they visited Blacon as well as our regular bookings from local groups and businesses.
