Firm Start shared office workspace

Firm Start provides shared office accommodation for local start up enterprises. Providing dedicated desk space, a computer and Broadband Internet access. Since its introduction in 2006 Firm Start has helped numerous local people to launch successful new businesses. Building on this success, future aims include the development of further managed workspace. This will provide much-needed business premises for new enterprises in Blacon whilst ensuring the continual delivery of enterprise coaching.

Firm Start

Thrive Programme

Thrive is a tailored package of support to help improve your organisation's performance, increase your ability to deliver social benefit and move towards financial sustainability.
The support package could cover, amongst other things, leadership mentoring, securing contracts, marketing and branding strategies, market research, business planning, diversification and development of new services or products, asset development, quality accreditation, networking and alliances, budgeting and financial systems, team-building and governance frameworks.
The support will be delivered by consultants from BCT Regenesis who specialise in supporting organisations to move away from grant dependency and develop more sustainable income streams. The programme is offered free of charge thanks to financial support from the Bank of America.
Through this Programme, selected organisations will be assisted in putting together a clear, achievable strategy and action plan to safeguard and increase their impact in delivering social benefit.
The Programme is overseen by a panel of assessors representing Cheshire & Warrington Social Enterprise Partnership and Bank of America with support from other key agencies.
