A multi-room facility for meetings, community groups, clubs, celebrations and workshops.
Blacon Community and Arts Centre comprises a main hall (with stage screened off with board meeting table); a smaller hall, a small kitchen area and a separate bar area (currently being renovated for use as an additional room).
Regular users are the Jolly Tots Playgroup, Stars Community Creche, The Tea Dance, Silver Threads, The Dance Troupe and New Life Blacon Community Church.
The Centre is available for outside bookings for functions such as private parties, wedding receptions, discos and dances.
Chester City Council owns the building and employs a part-time caretaker. The programme and bookings are managed by Blacon Community Trust.
